Does this sound familiar?

I've saved a hundred marble accent walls. Real stone for one wall costs more than the whole room.

I tried a faux marble video on a board. The veins looked like lightning.

I'm not an artist. I don't know where veins are supposed to go.

And on a whole wall the glaze dries before I can blend it, right?

I don't want to ruin a wall I just painted.

Freehand veins fail because you're inventing them on the spot, all the same width. Split the wall into slabs, practise the three movements on a board, and copy a printed vein map. Then soften every vein before it dries. That's what makes paint read as stone.

What you'll be able to do

  • Paint six different stones, from soft Carrara to black Nero, with a colour recipe for each.
  • Draw veins that fork, thin out and fade, using five simple rules and a printed map.
  • Work a big wall one slab at a time, so the glaze never dries before you blend it.
  • Practise on two boards first, so the wall is your third try, not your first.
  • Buy the right supplies once, at any hardware store, with the shopping list.
  • Seal it so it lasts, and fix mistakes with a simple glaze-over.

Questions

How do I get the guide?

Right after payment you receive an email with your download links. The guide reads well on a phone; print the vein maps and recipe cards from any printer.

Is anything shipped?

No. Everything is digital (PDF). You buy the paint, glaze and brushes yourself at any hardware store; the shopping list tells you what to get.

I'm not artistic. Can I really do this?

The method is built for that. You practise three movements on boards, follow a colour recipe, and copy a printed vein map instead of inventing veins. Most people need two practice boards before the wall.

How long does a wall take?

Plan an evening for prep and the base coat, then about one day to marble an 8 × 10 ft wall slab by slab, and a few hours over the next day to seal it.

Can I do it in a bathroom?

Yes on walls outside the shower, with good ventilation and a water-based clear coat. Not inside showers, on floors or on countertops you cut on; the guide explains where it works and where it doesn't.

What if I mess up?

Almost every mistake can be glazed over: let it dry, roll a thin wash of base colour mixed with glaze, and redo that slab. The fix-it chart covers the twelve most common problems.

Are the images photos of real walls?

No. They are illustrations we made to show the colours, vein patterns and stages, so you can see what you're aiming for.

What if it's not for me?

Ask for a refund within 30 days and you get the full amount back.
